Meet the Goodlife Executive Team
Jackie Brander
Jackie Brander is responsible for turning Fred Segal Fun into a landmark boutique – making the Santa Monica hot spot a media darling and a must-shop destination for locals and tourists alike. Hundreds of hand-selected brands are showcased in the 6,000 square foot store – which boasts an environment of style, fun and privacy (for the myriad of celebrity faces that come through its doors). Under Brander’s watchful eye, Fred Segal expanded to add a men’s store and a women’s loungewear/lingerie boutique. She is also credited with spearheading Disney Vintage—a clothing line that married elements of Disney nostalgia with today’s stylish modernity. The line was an instant success, underscoring Brander’s innate ability to creatively hone in on trends ahead of the industry. Most recently, she helped co-create Design a Cure, a charity event in which clothing industry heavy-hitters were paired with a celebrity to design a signature tee, which paired duos like Rock & Republic/Sheryl Crow and C&C/Jennifer Aniston. Brander has also supported Heal The Bay and Choose Your Cause, an organization that designs bracelets with proceeds going to a charity of the purchaser’s choice. In short, Brander is one of the most recognizable names in retail today.

Monica Miranda
Monica Miranda’s career has taken her from West Coast, to East and back again. Her expertise in sales and web merchandising, retail presentation and management has helped major brands like Ed Hardy, Rocawear, Nautica Jeans Company, Disney and Playboy. With an interest in both fashion and accessories (both jewelry and shoes), Miranda began her career as an Associate Buyer at Macy’s corporate (Seattle), where she helped oversee a $20 million yearly men’s business, and execute major marketing and advertising strategies. A move to Nautica took her to New York where she oversaw store planning and managed a team of 30 merchandise coordinators, whom she trained nationwide at all locations. Rocawear wooed her away and as Director of Retail Planning, she created retail presentation standards for the brand while managing store planning nationwide. Back home in Los Angeles, Miranda became Director of Sales for Lucas Design International, where she was instrumental in a thriving $15 million dollar jewelry business for Disney, Playboy and Rocawear. Before joining Goodlife, Miranda was the National Sales Manager at P2F Holdings, where she oversaw More Ed Hardy’s regional sales offices.
